Sega, Dubai's Emaar plan Asia, Mideast theme parks

DUBAI Jan 17 (Reuters) - Dubai's Emaar Properties EMAR.DU and Japan's Sega Corp have agreed to develop theme parks in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, Emaar said on Thursday.

Sega Corp. is the game publishing unit of Sega Sammy Holdings (6460.T).

The companies will initially develop an indoor gaming complex at the Dubai Mall on the site of the world's tallest tower, the Burj Dubai, Emaar's mall unit said in a statement on the bourse Web site.
