Finncomm buys five aircraft worth $90 mln from ATR

HELSINKI Jan 21 (Reuters) - Privately held Finnish carrier Finncomm Airlines said on Monday it has agreed to exercise an option to buy five ATR 72-500 aircraft in a deal valued at more than $90 million. The planes would be delivered between 2009 and 2011, the airline said in a statement.

ATR is a partnership between Finnmeccanica's (SIFI.MI) Alenia Aeronautica company and European aerospace group EADS (EAD.PA)(EAD.DE). (Reporting by Tarmo Virki; Editing by Quentin Bryar)
