Awilco says agrees $335.6 mln rig loan

OSLO Jan 22 (Reuters) - Norwegian oilfield services group Awilco Offshore AWO.OL has secured a loan of $335.6 million from a group of banks including Citibank (C.N) for its third semi-submersible rig, the WilPromoter.

"This financing represents approximately 85 percent of the estimated delivered cost of WilPromoter," Awilco Offshore said in a statement.

The rig is under construction in China and due for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2009, it said.
