                           Transaction in Own Shares                           

DMGT announces that on 21 January it acquired 600,000 'A' Ordinary Non Voting
shares at a price of £4.55195 per share. The shares acquired will be held in
Treasury.

Following the purchase, the total number of 'A' Ordinary Non Voting Shares held
in treasury is 16,861,982 and the total number of 'A' Ordinary Non Voting
Shares in issue after deducting shares held in treasury is 355,834,666.
