Progressive Gaming to Showcase Innovative Systems Solutions for the Worldwide Gaming Industry at ICE 2008
LAS VEGAS--(Business Wire)--Progressive Gaming International Corporation (NASDAQ:PGIC) ("the
Company"), a leading provider of diversified technology and system
solutions used in the gaming industry worldwide, will showcase systems
solutions for the worldwide gaming industry at the International
Casino Exhibition (ICE) 2008 (Earls Court 2: Booth #3310) in London,
January 22-24. On display at ICE will be a demonstration of the
advantage provided by 13.56 MHz PJM Radio Frequency Identification
(RFID) technology, enabling true chip tracking on roulette for the
first time, the Company's RFID Chip Inventory System (CIS) and RFID
player tracking on card tables. In addition, Progressive will showcase
its Casinolink(R) Enterprise suite featuring a demonstration of the
new Progressive Gaming/Acres-Fiore jointly developed innovative
mystery progressive game enhancement and Casinolink Enterprise
Analytics, which provides the tools needed to analyze and mine data
collected by the various systems deployed throughout the casino.
Dave Waters, VP Europe, Middle East and Africa for Progressive
Gaming International Corporation, commented, "At ICE 2008, Progressive
will have the largest presence we have ever had at this important
global gaming conference. Our wealth of systems products that will be
on display offer unique solutions to meet the diverse needs of our
growing global customer base.
"The innovative mystery progressive features included within the
Casinolink Enterprise suite are already proven in their ability to
drive strong returns for operators and we believe the new Win
Proximity Meter feature we developed with the team from Acres-Fiore
will provide an even higher level of entertainment experience for
players which in turn will generate even higher returns for our
customers. In addition, our Casinolink Enterprise Analytics is a
scalable solution that provides our customers with all of the tools
necessary to mine and analyze data collected for slots and table game
performance, membership and patron tracking and cage accounting.
"Finally, 13.56Mhz PJM RFID technology for table games is well on
its way to becoming the gaming industry standard for accuracy, speed,
security and integrity and we are excited to be showcasing our
premiere table tracking capabilities for roulette tables, an industry
first, alongside our well established RFID tracking on card tables.
Our updated CIS software also utilizes leading edge RFID technology to
provide operators with a reliable solution to greatly reduce the risk
of any potential unfortunate security issues such as chip
counterfeiting or chip theft thanks to the unique information
associated with each chip and validation that occurs at every
redemption point that allows for the secure tracking of a chip
throughout its lifecycle in a casino. Progressive has a substantial
international presence and we are excited to introduce new and updated
offerings for our current and potential new customers at ICE."
13.56 MHz PJM technology is the global gaming standard used by
most of the major global casino operators. Through the utilization of
13.56 MHz PJM RFID technology Progressive has addressed the biggest
challenge associated with RFID-based chip tracking, speed.
Progressive's RFID on roulette provides the advantages of secure
tracking of chip movements and player tracking without slowing down
the game speed thereby allowing for the optimal number of games played
per hour.
In order to provide operators with the optimal electronic chip
flow management, the newest version of CIS includes enhanced features
such as the ability to attach to RFID enabled chip trays including
single and dual level trays; Invalid Chip Detection, which detects and
reports any chip not recorded as part of the casino's existing
approved chip stock; Stolen Chip Real-Time Alert reporting that
notifies management of potential security breach attempts at which
point all chips in question are automatically marked as "missing" and
ineligible for cash redemption; Chip Location Tracking; and, a variety
of enhancements to the user-friendly CIS reporting and user
interfaces.
