CUPERTINO, Calif., Jan. 22, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- NetManage, Inc.
(Nasdaq:NETM), a software company that provides the fastest way to transform
legacy applications into new Web-based business solutions, today announced the
release of its Right Start program, a two-day consultation service for OnWeb(r)
and OnWeb Web-to-Host(r) customers. Right Start is available to both new
customers and those who are upgrading to the most current version of OnWeb to
document and deliver a comprehensive program designed to meet the specific
customized requirements of each customer while staying within budget. Ranging
from simple host publishing to multi-lingual access, NetManage has eighteen
years of legacy solution experience, and Right Start shares this experience with
its customer base.

"Right Start is a proactive, customer-centric approach to successful
deployment," said Paul Callahan, director of Technical Services at NetManage,
Inc. "The combined knowledge of the Right Start team ensures that OnWeb is
tailored to each customer's individual needs the first time and that
customization begins on a successful path, thus eliminating issues that might
arise down the road. With the Right Start program, customers will have peace of
mind from the beginning."

NetManage established the Right Start program to best meet customers' needs at a
reduced cost to standard consulting fees. Onsite, a Right Start consultant will
install and configure OnWeb, demonstrate connectivity to host systems and walk
through components and architecture. They will also review all documentation,
help resources and technical support processes with the customer. For additional
reference, the Right Start consultant will provide leave-behind architectural
diagrams of the current installation, key issues to be addressed for future
project success and guidance on next steps.

"NetManage's Right Start program maximizes a company's investment by ensuring
the product is optimized right from the start," said Zvi Alon, chairman,
president and CEO at NetManage, Inc. "OnWeb continues to be the quick,
efficient, cost-effective and comprehensive access to legacy applications and
host systems for companies worldwide, and the Right Start consultants provide
experience and expertise in product details to ensure specification of
installation to meet each company's goals."

OnWeb is a server-based software solution that enables the fast development and
deployment of new business processes by integrating information systems and
transforming them into customized Web services quickly, securely and without
costly modifications.
