Nearly 200 Daimler Financial Managers Will be 'Knocking Down Obstacles' to
Help Dallas-Fort Worth-Area Non-Profits Serve Their Communities

      Employees to build furniture and other hands-on projects for local
                                organizations

    WHAT:    As part of their 2008 Daimler Financial Services Field Sales
             Conference, 200 managers from across the Americas will
             participate in large-scale community relations outreach called
             "Knocking Down Obstacles," benefiting Dallas-Fort Worth non-
             profit organizations. The group will be building benches, picnic
             tables, other wooden objects and painting murals for use by the
             agencies. These projects help local organizations: Camp John
             Marc, The Family Place, Citizen's Development Center,
             Transitional Resource Action Center (TRAC), Dallas Area Habitat
             for Humanity, Community Hospice of Texas and Juliette Fowler
             Homes.

    WHO:     Franz Reiner, Vice President of Mercedes-Benz Financial, and
             Richard Howard, Vice President of Daimler Truck Financial, will
             lead 200 managers of Daimler Financial and work with
             representatives of each charity.

    WHEN:    Friday, January 25, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
