DataPath Names Industry Veteran Leslie P. Blaker Vice President of Government
Affairs and Development
DULUTH, Ga., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- DataPath, Inc., a leading provider of
satellite and wireless communications networks around the world, has appointed
Leslie P. Blaker to the position of vice president of government affairs and
development. In this role, Blaker leads DataPath's government relations
initiatives and participation with key organizations that inform and advise
the U.S. government on vital communications issues.
Blaker was previously vice president, development for Americom Government
Services, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of SES Global, S.A. that serves the
U.S. government in the areas of civilian and defense broadband communications.
There her responsibilities included strategic development and related
governmental affairs. Blaker has more than 20 years of experience within the
satellite industry supporting the U.S. government, including other senior
roles at iDirect Technologies, Loral Orion, GTE Spacenet, Hughes Network
Systems and Northern Telecom.
