REG-Fidelity European: Amended Transaction in Own Shares

The issuer advises that the following replaces the transaction in own shares
announcement released on 22 January 2008 at 09:49 under RIS number
PRNUK-2201080943-3719. The number of shares repurchased should have read 57,500
shares for cancellation and not 57,000 shares for cancellation as previously
announced. All other details remain unchanged. The full amended text appears
below.

Fidelity European Values PLC announces that the Company on 21 January 2008
repurchased for cancellation 57,500 of its own shares at a price of 1205 pence
per share. The total number of shares now in issue is 58,620,751.
