Community Bank Partners with Software Vendor to Improve
Competitive Positioning
CEDAR PARK, Texas--(Business Wire)--Integrated Bank Technology (IBT), a company that provides software
applications to community financial institutions across the country,
announced that Wisconsin-based Bank of Mauston has selected the
company's Internet banking product. The bank has worked with IBT for
several years and will use the new product to improve security and add
other enhancements to the online banking experience of its customers.
"The bank has used Internet banking in the past from another
provider, but we wanted a product that featured additional layers of
security and gave our customers immediate access to their deposited
funds," JoAnn Johnson, COO at Bank of Mauston, said. "We looked at a
number of companies, but we chose IBT because of the successful
partnership that we've developed over the years. The ease of use and
ability to access every program from one screen were also strong
selling points."
Integrated Bank Technology's flagship product is Integrated Bank
Environment (IBE), a repository for not only a financial institution's
core system, but also all of the ancillary systems enabling everything
to be tracked and managed from a single system. The software provider
also offers a number of applications, including merchant capture,
Integrated Fraud Detection and Integrated Image Teller.
"IBT was also very willing to determine the true needs of the bank
before deploying a solution," Kelly Murphy, director of marketing at
Bank of Mauston, added. "The team really worked to customize
everything to fit our particular needs."
Since implementation, Bank of Mauston customers have been able to
access account information in real time and complete tasks such as
printing a copy of a cancelled check at home rather than visiting a
branch. This has decreased the number of calls that the customer
service department receives and made it easier to view information
when a customer request is received because the need to move between
multiple programs has been eliminated.
"IBT's Internet banking product keeps us on the cutting edge of
technology," Murphy explained. "Business is conducted so fast now and
people access their accounts at all times of the day and night, so if
we didn't have the product we'd be losing customers because we
couldn't address their needs."
"Along with its leading technology, IBT's support is fantastic,"
Johnson added. "When you call, instead of being routed to a call
center you speak with a technician who understands the software and
the help is immediate. We look forward to working with IBT on more
projects in the future."
"An increasing number of business transactions can be completed
instantly and customers expect that same level of technology from
their financial institution," Mark Dittman, CEO at IBT, commented.
"Banks that do not upgrade their technology will fall further and
further behind the curve, so it's encouraging to work with clients
such as Bank of Mauston that are committed to using technology to
provide the highest level of service possible."
