Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown Expands West Coast Presence

NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, the U.S. Private Client Services (PCS)
division of Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Deutsche Bank Private
Wealth Management, today announced a significant expansion of its West
Coast operations, adding four Client Advisors to its San Francisco and
Los Angeles offices. Tim Ford and Melissa Conroy Whitney have joined
the San Francisco office as Managing Directors and will report to
William Svoboda, a Managing Director and San Francisco Regional
Executive. In addition, Benjamin Goldberg and Brian Richmond have
joined the Los Angeles office as Directors, reporting to Phil
Waxelbaum, a Managing Director and Los Angeles Regional Executive.

   Ford joins the firm after 11 years at Lehman Brothers where he was
most recently a Managing Director and is credited with launching the
firm's Corporate Cash Management group. Prior to that, he was a Vice
President and Municipal Bond Trader at Morgan Stanley. He earned a BS
in Commerce from the University of Virginia.

   Whitney also joins the firm from Lehman Brothers where she was a
Senior Vice President in the Corporate Cash Management group. During
her 12 years at Lehman, she held a variety of positions in the
Institutional Client group. She earned a BS in Marketing from
Providence College and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

   Goldberg, who has more than 13 years of experience in the
financial services industry, joins the firm from Bank of America where
he was a Senior Vice President in the Investments division. Prior to
that, he was a Branch Manager and Vice President at Morgan Stanley
where he managed 35 Financial Advisors.

   Richmond also joins the firm from Bank of America where he was a
Financial Advisor. Prior to that, he was a Financial Advisor at Morgan
Stanley. He earned a BA in Economics from California State University.
