Enhancement to Tango Abrazo provides seamless integration between
                       WiFi and mobile networks
RICHARDSON, Texas--(Business Wire)--Tango Networks(TM), the leader in seamless enterprise fixed-mobile
convergence, today announced support for Voice Call Continuity (VCC)
functionality to further enhance the capabilities of its award-winning
Abrazo(TM) product line. VCC enables calls to continue uninterrupted
as the caller transitions between disparate networks, including Voice
over WiFi and mobile networks.

According to a recent report by Infonetics Research, worldwide
WiFi phone revenue is gaining momentum, with strong double-digit
growth every year through 2010. For enterprises implementing Voice
over WiFi, VCC enables smooth handoff of calls between WiFi and mobile
networks.

The addition of VCC functionality further expands Tango's
commitment to seamlessly extend employees' enterprise PBX experience
to any mobile phone -- including dual-mode WiFi devices -- and using
any mobile network, including GSM, CDMA, 3G and now WiFi.

"The 3GPP VCC standard is an extension of the IMS architecture,
designed to facilitate seamless active handoff of voice calls between
disparate networks," explained Bill Young, director of product
marketing for Tango Networks. "In the classic implementation, calls
are anchored in the carrier network. With Tango's enterprise VCC
implementation, the call can be anchored in the most appropriate
location to benefit both the enterprise and the carrier. This provides
call control, features and accounting from the enterprise network
irrespective of whether the caller is on the enterprise WiFi network,
a public WiFi network, or the mobile network."

Tango's VCC solution enables seamless handoffs in both directions
- from WiFi to mobile and vice versa, with automatic selection of the
best network to use. The Abrazo allows enterprises to apply policies
to WiFi access to control how employees use Voice over WiFi - such as
in-building only, for call terminations only, during certain hours, or
in certain locations. With Abrazo, employees can utilize the same PBX
calling features from their desk set as well as their single- or
dual-mode 2G or 3G mobile phone.

"There are three architectural approaches to fixed-mobile
convergence today: enterprise-centric, carrier-centric, and a hybrid
approach," stated Andrew Silver, co-founder and CTO of Tango Networks.
"Tango Networks takes the VCC standard and applies a fresh hybrid
approach, enabling mobile calls to be controlled by the PBX. This
ensures that the complexity of an enterprise's network is managed by
the enterprise, with the mobile operator providing optimized voice
availability anytime and anyplace."

Tango Networks is working with multiple manufacturers of VCC
clients as part of its continuing open support and interoperability
testing of any mobile device and client.

The Tango VCC initiative will initially be launched with some of
the pre-eminent VCC client providers in the industry, including
HelloSoft.
