Former EMC Executive, Greg Clock Joins CREDANT Technologies as Vice President,
Strategic Alliances and Worldwide Channels
Appointment of channel chief to endpoint data protection vendor's management
team signals powerful new channel partner program and dramatically broadens
CREDANT's sales and go to market strategy

DALLAS, Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- CREDANT Technologies(R), the market leader
in endpoint data protection solutions, today announced that it has appointed
Greg M. Clock as vice president, strategic alliances and worldwide channels.
In his role, Clock is responsible for the worldwide channel, alliance, and
business development teams. CREDANT will bolster its channel program with
attractive programs for resellers and VARs who seek to offer their customers
CREDANT's industry-leading technology for centrally managed endpoint data
security solutions, a critical component of an Endpoint Protection Platform.
CREDANT's flagship product, CREDANT Mobile Guard is already deployed by 25
percent of the Fortune 500, and more than 600 enterprises and businesses
worldwide.
    Clock brings to CREDANT over 15 years of experience in global sales,
marketing, partner management and business development. Most recently Clock
worked at EMC as director of global alliances where he built and managed $165
million in strategic relationships with partners such as ACS, Perot Systems
and IBM Global Services.
    Prior to EMC, Clock held positions at Legato, which EMC acquired. He most
recently was the vice president of Legato's professional consulting group.
Clock was a key player in the acquisition of OTG Software that became the
Messaging Business Group at Legato, a strategic product offering to compete in
the information protection market. As vice president and general manager at
Amdahl he was responsible for sales in 13 western states. Clock began his
career at HP in the Global Solutions Group. He earned his Bachelor of Science
degree in commerce from Santa Clara University.
