MURRAY HILL, N.J.--(Business Wire)--Want to ensure your food is always at its best? Learn how to
improve safety, quality and yield with Linde's new cryogenic chilling
and freezing technologies.

Marinated, individually quick frozen or ready-to-eat poultry has
special requirements that demand more of processors' time and
attention. Linde, a member of The Linde Group, the leading global
gases and engineering company, provides processors with cost-effective
technologies designed to help customers maximize cryogenic efficiency
and production throughput.

Visit Linde in booth #1219 at the International Poultry Exhibition
in Atlanta's World Congress Center, January 23-25 to learn more about
how Linde's decades of experience in developing hygienically designed
chilling and freezing technologies can improve your operations. Linde
also is a sponsor of the IPE's Welcome Reception for attendees,
immediately after the show on Wednesday, Jan. 23.

"As processors reconfigure their operations to provide consumers
with even more prepared food choices, Linde helps them address their
most challenging concerns, including temperature control, increased
production capacity and food safety," said Mark DiMaggio, head of food
and beverage markets, Linde North America.

For example, Linde offers the food industry's first, completely
hygienic cryogenic freezer. The Linde CRYOLINE(R) hygienic tunnel
freezer helps processors reduce freezing bottlenecks and downtime
while lowering their food safety risk. It is the first cryogenic
freezer designed in accordance with U.S. Department of Agriculture and
American Meat Institute guidelines for sanitary design.

The modular tunnel freezer has sloped external and internal
surfaces to eliminate liquid collection and to facilitate easy
draining, no niches to harbor pathogens and offers complete access to
all areas for easy cleaning and inspection.

"The CRYOLINE freezer is perfect for ready-to-eat and
ready-to-cook protein processors," DiMaggio said.

For chilling poultry products before further processing, Linde's
newly relaunched combo chiller gives processors an automated
alternative to using carbon dioxide pellets or snow, which must be
manually loaded into combo bins.

The Linde combo chiller takes breasts, tenders and wings directly
from the deboning line and deposits them into combo bins in layers
interspersed with CO2 snow dispensed automatically through snowhorns.

"Dispensing snow at strategic intervals eliminates inconsistencies
that can cause hot or cold spots. The automated process also
eliminates labor and CO2 off-gassing, creating a safer employee work
environment," DiMaggio said.

The Linde Group is the leading global gases and engineering group
of companies with more than 50,000 employees working in around 70
countries worldwide. Following the acquisition of The BOC Group the
company has gases and engineering sales of approximately 12 billion
euros. The strategy of The Linde Group is geared towards
forward-looking products and services.
