Dearborn Real Estate Education Helps Licensed Appraisers Meet 2008 Requirements with New Materials

CHICAGO--(Business Wire)--Dearborn Real Estate Education (www.dearbornre.com) has a new line
of 13 appraisal titles to help real estate schools implement
curriculum to meet the new education requirements for Appraisal
licensing. The new requirements, written by the Appraisal
Qualifications Board (AQB), went into effect in all 50 states on
January 1, 2008, and impact all levels of appraisal study. A maximum
increase of 120 additional education hours (on top of the existing 80
hours) were added to help professionals reach the highest Certified
General Appraiser level, bringing the new total up to 300 total
required hours of education.

Dearborn's new line, written by certified appraisers, covers all
four levels of Appraiser study - Appraiser Trainee, Licensed
Residential Appraiser, Certified Residential Appraiser, and Certified
General Appraiser - and each text is designed around the AQB
requirements for that level. The first six books in this series
available now cover the requirements for Trainee and Licensed
Appraisers. The remaining titles to be released in 2008 will cover
Certified Residential and Certified General levels.

"We are very excited to provide this top-quality education
solution for our partnering real estate schools," said Mehul Patel,
President of Dearborn Real Estate Education. "Our new textbooks and
instructor resources allow schools to easily create and implement new
appraisal courses into their existing curriculum. With over 50 years
experience providing real estate education materials, we are confident
that schools will find our new 2008 AQB appraisal titles to be the
strongest ones available."
