               Buongiorno executes the buyback programme
for up to 8% of the current share capital

Milan, January 22, 2008 -Buongiorno SpA (MTAX STAR: BNG), a leading
multinational in digital entertainment, starts today the execution of the
buyback programme approved by shareholders at the Shareholders' Meeting on May
2, 2007.

The execution of the programme aims to acquire Buongiorno shares at prices that
the Company's Board of Directors considers highly interesting; the shares could
be used in future M&A operations.

The Ordinary Shareholders' Meeting delegated to the Board of Directors the
powers to buy back up to 8,500,000 own ordinary shares of a nominal value of
Euro 0.26 each (equivalent in total to 8% of the current share capital), in one
or more tranches by November 2, 2008 (a period of no more than 18 months
following the date of the related General Meeting resolution).

The buyback shall be made on the stock market in accordance with current
legislation: pursuant to the resolution, the unit price for the purchase of the
shares may not be more or less than 10% of the reference price of the share
during the three trading days prior to each purchase transaction, and the
maximum purchase volumes may not exceed 25% of the mean daily volumes traded
during the five trading days prior to the purchase (the Company however reserves
the right to increase the aforesaid percentage to up to 50%, giving timely
notice thereof to Borsa Italiana, Consob and the market). With regard to the
sale of the shares purchased, under the resolution, the unit price for the
disposal of the shares may not be less than 10% of the reference price of the
stock during the trading day prior to each transaction. This limit on the price
may not apply in the case of disposals other than sales (for instance, in the
case of exchanges, swap, contributions, transfers or other disposals of own
shares effected within the framework of extraordinary finance transactions that
entail the assignment or disposal of own shares); in such cases, other pricing
policies may be followed in light of the goals pursued, bearing in mind market
practices, the instructions imparted by Borsa Italiana S.p.A. and Consob
recommendations.
