Mentor Announces Webcast of Third Quarter Financial Results for Fiscal Year 2008

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--(Business Wire)--Mentor Corporation (NYSE:MNT), a leading supplier of medical
products for the global aesthetic market, today announced it will
report financial results for the third quarter fiscal year 2008 on
Thursday, January 31, 2008, after the financial markets close. The
announcement will be followed by a conference call with the financial
community at 5:00 p.m. ET.

   Participating in the call will be Joshua H. Levine, President and
Chief Executive Officer, and other members of Mentor's senior
management team.

   Live audio of the conference will be simultaneously broadcast over
the Internet and will be available to members of the media, investors
and the general public. The conference call is expected to last
approximately one hour.

   This event can be accessed by going to Mentor's website,

conference call will be archived and available for replay for seven
days after the event.
