CLEVELAND, OH, Jan 22 (MARKET WIRE) --
IMG, the world's premier sports, entertainment and media company, today
announced that Ya-Ni Tseng, on the eve of her 19th birthday, has selected IMG
for global management and marketing representation.
Originally from Taoyuan, Taiwan but now residing in Beaumont, California,
Ya-Ni will
begin her rookie campaign on the LPGA at the SBS Open at Turtle Bay in Kahuku,
Hawaii on February 14th. Off to a stellar start in 2008, she has already

Considered by many the top female player in Taiwan over the past four years,
Ya-Ni has experienced her fair share of success throughout the rest of the
world. Ya-Ni captured the 2004 USGA Women's Amateur Public Links Championship
as well as the 2005 North & South Women's Amateur Championship. As a
professional in 2007, Ya-Ni reigned supreme at the DLF Women's Indian Open
and followed with an impressive victory at the Vancouver Golf Club on the CN
Canadian Women's Tour.
In making the announcement, Mark Steinberg, Global Managing Director of
IMGGolf, said, "IMG is thrilled to join Ya-Ni's team as she embarks upon her
rookie season on the LPGA Tour. Ya-Ni is undoubtedly one of the most talented
young players in the world and we are truly honored that she has chosen to
partner with IMG to help her reach her goal of becoming one of the best
golfers in the world."
"IMG has excellent resources on and off the golf course throughout the
world.
I am very happy to partner with them as I begin my journey on the LPGA,"
added Ya-Ni Tseng.
"Ya-Ni has a very bright future ahead of her and should have an immediate
impact on
women's professional golf," stated Jay Burton, Senior Vice President of IMG
Golf, who will oversee Ya-Ni's team at IMG.
Matt Iofredo, who will serve as Ya-Ni's manager at IMG, added, "Ya-Ni is
likely to compete for many championships and we look forward to working with her
