Participating in his first USO tour, Brooks is a continuous supporter of
America's men and women in uniform. In 2007, Brooks & Dunn paid homage to
U.S. troops with numerous special concerts and show-stopping salutes. In
recognition of their support, the group has also been presented with a
noncommissioned officer sword, courtesy of the Marine Corps Association.

"I'm really excited about going to the Middle East and look forward to telling
our troops just how much we appreciate their service," said Brooks. "There's
nothing quite like performing for the U.S. armed forces. They are so
appreciative and I'm certain this USO tour will be amazing."

Born and raised in Shreveport, LA, Brooks began his career in music as a
songwriter and solo recording artist, having released his first album in 1989.
He teamed up with Ronnie Brooks in 1990 to become Brooks & Dunn, the highest
selling duo in music history. Since the two joined forces they have sold more
than 30 million records, won more than 75 major industry awards and released
more than 40 hit songs, 23 of which have reached number one status. ABC Radio
Networks' weekly four-hour "American Country Countdown," is broadcast on more
than 300 stations and airs on the Armed Forces Radio Network around the globe.

Historically, few events have left a more lasting positive emotional
impression on service members and their families than USO celebrity
entertainment tours. Since the USO's inception in 1941, thousands of
celebrities have selflessly lent their time and talents, and traveled to
military bases around the world to entertain the troops.
