Ventas Announces 2007 Fourth Quarter and Year-End Earnings Release Date and
Conference Call

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ventas, Inc.
(NYSE: VTR) ("Ventas" or the "Company") announced today that it will issue its
2007 fourth quarter and year-end earnings release after the close of trading
on Wednesday, February 13, 2008.  A conference call to discuss those earnings
will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time
