Ping An may buy stake in Aviva or Prudential-paper

LONDON Jan 22 (Reuters) - China's Ping An Insurance (Group) Co (601318.SS) (2318.HK) may look at buying a stake in a British insurer, Aviva Plc (AV.L) or Prudential Plc (PRU.L), after raising $22 billion in an equity refinancing, The Daily Telegraph newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The paper also said that China Life Insurance Co Ltd (601628.SS) might consider buying into the British companies. (Reporting by Dan Lalor)
