CALGARY, ALBERTA, Mar 10 (MARKET WIRE) -- Kurt Soost, Managing Director of Trimor Capital Corp., a Calgary Businessman, announced today that as of March 7, 2008, he is the beneficial owner, personally and through his investment holding company 1098701 Alberta Ltd., of 5,000,500 common shares (the "Shares") of ALERT B&C Corporation ("ALERT"). The Shares acquired in connection with the foregoing acquisition represent approximately 10.08% of the 49,603,860 issued and outstanding Shares as at the date hereof. After giving effect to the acquisition of the Shares, 1098701 Alberta Ltd. is the beneficial owner of 2,566,500 Shares, which represents 5.17% of the 49,603,860 Shares issued and outstanding as at the date hereof. Kurt Soost is personally the beneficial owner of 2,434,000 Shares which represents the additional 4.91%. The Shares were acquired for investment purposes through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange and through a private placement completed on March 3, 2007.
