Savantage Team Named One of Five Winners of PMSS-2 Contract

  ROCKVILLE, MD, Mar 24 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
 Lisa Kazor, President and CEO of Savantage Solutions, announced today that the
Army's Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS)
has awarded one of  the Program Management Support Services - 2 (PMSS-2)
contract
vehicles to the Savantage Team. The PMSS-2 IDIQ contract vehicles, worth
approximately $478.6 million over the next 5 years, were awarded to 5 companies
in total, including 3 large businesses and 2 small businesses.  Tasks will
be competed amongst the 5 winning offerors.

    Savantage, a woman-owned, small business, is the leader of a powerful,
integrated,
15-member team, composed of Federal Contractors who will leverage their
functional and technical experience to assist PEO-EIS with program management
and administration.  The Savantage team members include a variety of companies
--
large and small, veteran-, woman- and minority-owned businesses with
expertise across all of the nine functional areas identified by the Army in
their
RFP.  With Savantage as the prime, the members of Savantage Team include
American Management Association, ASM Research, BAE Systems, CGI Federal,

International, TechTeam and Vizornet.  The team brings a strong world-wide
presence, experience and knowledge of PEO-EIS customers' missions and
business processes and procedures.

    PEO-EIS is the largest of the Army's Program Executive Offices.  Its mission
is to develop, acquire, integrate, deploy and sustain network-centric systems
aimed a providing a variety of mission-critical capabilities to the Army by
leveraging
commercial and enterprise capabilities.  PEO-EIS is responsible for developing
enterprise services, managing hardware purchases and supporting the extension of
the Army's networking capabilities.

    The functional areas covered by the PMSS-2 contract include program, product

other IT related services.  PEO-EIS customers will be able to use the contract
to
issue performance based task orders.
