On 21 January 2008, Marston's PLC (the Company) announced the appointment of
Neil Goulden as a Non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 31
March 2008.

It is confirmed that Neil Goulden has taken up his position as of today and, in
accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, it is disclosed that he
has a holding of 10,000 ordinary shares in the Company as at this date.
