GLASGOW INCOME TRUST PLC


Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited ("Aberdeen") and the Board of Glasgow Income
Trust plc ("Glasgow Income") announce the appointment of Susan Anderson and
David Boyle as co-managers of Glasgow Income.  Susan has worked for Aberdeen
since the acquisition of Glasgow Investment Managers Limited ("GIM") in 2007
and, before that, worked as part of the trust's investment management team at
GIM since 1996.  David is an investment manager in Aberdeen's Pan European
equity team and joined Aberdeen in 2003.
