NORTHERN 2 VCT PLC ("The Company")

ISSUE OF ORDINARY SHARES

The Company announces that on 31 March 2008 it allotted to 237 subscribers
3,079,957 ordinary shares of 5p each under the 2007/08 Offer for Subscription.
The new Ordinary Shares were issued at a price of 95p per share.


Application will be made at the earliest practicable opportunity for these
shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to
trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities.


The issued share capital of the Company is now 53,234,697 Ordinary Shares.
