Crestline Hotels & Resorts Appoints Richard A. Gaines as General Manager for
the Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens, Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES and MCLEAN, Va., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Crestline Hotels &
Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Richard A. Gaines as General
Manager for the Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens in Los Angeles. The hotel,
which recently completed $8 million dollars in property improvements, is
located in downtown Los Angeles near the Civic Center in 'Little Tokyo'. It
offers 434 guestrooms as well as meeting space and a traditional Japanese
garden.
Mr. Gaines has an extensive hospitality industry management background
that spans more than 15 years. He joins Crestline from Sunstone Hotels where
he was the General Manager for the Sheraton Cerritos. Prior to that role, he
was General Manager for the Hilton Doubletree Carson Civic Plaza, the Radisson
Beverly Pavilion, and the Beverly Plaza Hotel.

The Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens
The Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens, formerly the New Otani Hotel, offers a
first class guest experience. The 21 story hotel offers a unique Japanese
