GlobalOptions Group's Bode Technology Provides Forensic DNA Services to Aid Rape Victims in Kenya

Bode Joins Forces with CSI Nairobi to Help Convict Offenders and
                       to Prevent Future Abuses
NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--
GlobalOptions Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLOI), a leading provider of
domestic and international risk mitigation and management services,
today announced that its Bode Technology operating unit is providing
forensic DNA services to Nairobi Women's Hospital of Kenya and CSI
Nairobi in an effort to help convict offenders and to reduce violence
against women in Kenya.

It has been estimated that more than 1200 women have been raped
and 500 others have been killed in Kenya. The violence broke out
following Kenya's disputed presidential election at the end of
December. Most victims are afraid to report these crimes because they
have little confidence in the ability of law enforcement to prosecute
the perpetrators.

In order to convict these offenders, Bode Technology has teamed up
with CSI Nairobi and the Nairobi Women's Hospital of Kenya to collect,
catalog and test the DNA samples. Bode, world-renowned for its DNA
analysis capabilities, will assist in the analysis of the cases
associated with known, suspected rapists. In addition, Bode Technology
has provided DNA collection kits to forensic experts in Kenya.

The ability of DNA testing to hold individuals accountable for
their actions has been widely demonstrated in other nations. However,
this will be the first time DNA testing will be used to address
accountability in Kenya. By holding individuals accountable for their
actions, not only are past crimes and violence addressed, but future
violence could be deterred.

"Bode Technology's DNA testing capability in this effort is
critical," said Kinyanjui Murigi, CEO of CSI Nairobi. "This will
provide the indisputable evidence necessary to convict suspects and to
help reduce these crimes against women from happening in the future."

"The collection and testing of DNA samples during a time of active
conflict is a marked advancement in the use of DNA testing and has the
potential of deterring future violence," said Howard Safir, Chief
Executive Officer of Bode Technology and former New York City Police
Commissioner.

"It's extremely rewarding to use our DNA analysis capabilities to
help the people of Kenya have a more secure future and to provide an
avenue to address past crimes," said Ed Huffine, Vice President,
Humanitarian Services/International Development of Bode Technology.
According to Mr. Huffine, who has extensive experience in the
establishment of DNA databases in post-conflict settings around the
world, "the development of forensic missions within other nations
requires frequent interaction with the political, scientific and
diplomatic leaders of those nations, a model we're trying to
accomplish in Nairobi to prevent potential future victimization of its
women and children."

Bode has the technology, ability and capacity to help victims in
Kenya. It can also help CSI Nairobi establish protocols for collecting
DNA samples and for testing the samples. Once the funds are made
available, Bode will establish a testing and cataloging system in
Kenya.
