ATLANTA--(Business Wire)--
The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), the world's largest
user knowledgebase for Oracle Applications users, co-hosts the
COLLABORATE 08: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle
Community conference with the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG)
and Quest International Users Group, April 13-17, at the Colorado
Convention Center in Denver.

The jointly hosted event includes more than 900 total educational
sessions presented by OAUG, IOUG and Quest. The OAUG offers more than
550 sessions focusing on product training across the entire family of
Oracle Applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft,
Siebel, Oracle Retail, Oracle Communications, Hyperion and Agile.

Demonstrating the continued collaboration and partnership between
Oracle and the user community, Oracle president Charles Phillips is
the opening keynote speaker during the event's general session on
April 14. Oracle's strong participation at the conference is also
evidenced by the many one-on-one meeting opportunities and more than
130 educational sessions with Oracle executives; access and
integration with more than 200 product and service providers in the
Exhibitor Showcase, including the extensive Oracle booth featuring
more than 40 demos and consultations with Oracle Services
representatives; and numerous networking opportunities with more than
7,500 conference attendees.

The joint event also offers new members of the Oracle community an
occasion to benefit from expanded educational and networking
opportunities within the entire Oracle community. For example, more
than 80 Hyperion-specific sessions are dedicated to the Hyperion user
community providing access to industry experts and solution providers.
The OAUG Hyperion SIG meeting is held April 13. Also, John Kopcke,
Oracle senior vice president, Enterprise Performance Management Global
Business Unit, delivers the Hyperion Keynote presentation on April 15.

The OAUG, Oracle representatives and Fusion industry leaders host
Fusion Applications and Fusion Middleware panel discussions; hands-on
lab sessions covering Fusion Middleware and its integration with
PeopleSoft, Siebel and E-Business Suite; on-site product usability
tests for Fusion Applications and Applications Unlimited and user-led
educational sessions.

More than 75 OAUG Geos and SIGs participate at COLLABORATE, with
SIG sessions starting on April 13. Also, pre- and post-event workshops
are held April 13 and 17. Attendees have the opportunity to spend time
with the industry's leaders, allowing them to enhance their
professional skills and interact with Oracle's top trainers.

"As the Oracle community continues to expand, the COLLABORATE 08
conference offers a vital opportunity for applications users to train
with Oracle representatives, strengthen professional contacts and
enhance their Oracle knowledgebase," said Jan Wagner, president of the
