Who: Infinity Systems, a Harman International company and
maker of high-performance speakers and audio systems for
the home and car.
What: Best Buy Co., Inc., a multinational retailer of
technology, and entertainment products and services,
announced today that it will begin stocking and selling
a new line of advanced Infinity(R) Kappa(R) automotive
loudspeakers. The new loudspeakers feature Plus One(R)
woofer cones, a true four-ohm, high-output design and an
optimized QT merge to provide the full, rich sound that
is the Kappa signature. With its distinguished heritage
in car audio, the Kappa line of premium automotive
speakers has long been one of the most recognized and
admired in the world.
Rob Cummins, merchandise leader of mobile electronics
for Best Buy, stated, "The Infinity Kappa Series
provides a premium assortment of speakers - an
assortment that the Best Buy consumer desires."
Pricing and
Availability: Kappa loudspeakers will be available in March 2008.
Products are expected to range in price from $119.95 to
$249.95, and will ship to quality retail outlets
worldwide.
