The Directors of Tremont Opportunity Fund Limited (the "Company") wish to
announce the issue of the following new series of shares:


Series                                       Issue Date                              Issue Price


Class B Series 8                             November 1st, 2007            €1,370.0913

Class C Series 2                             April 1st, 2007               £1,289.9726






The new series of shares will be admitted to the Official List of the Irish
Stock Exchange and to trading on the Main Market of the Exchange with effect
from 1 April, 2008.



This issue of new series was not previously notified to the Irish Stock Exchange
due to an administrative oversight.
