                MINORPLANET SYSTEMS PLC ("MINORPLANET" OR THE "COMPANY")
                               DISCLOSURE OF INTEREST


31 March 2008: The Company was notified on Friday 28 March that Morstan Nominees
Limited now holds a substantial shareholding of 2,446,474 Ordinary 1p Shares in
the Company for the personal account of Mr Guy Ratcliffe. This represents 7.5%
of the total voting rights.



The Company has a total of 32,429,861 Ordinary Shares in issue, the total number
of voting rights as at 31 March 2008 is 32,429,861. There are no shares in
treasury and there is no other class of share in issue which has voting rights.
