Berlin Atlantic Capital's Communications Infrastructure Group Announces Strategic Relationship with Wireless Facilities, Inc. for Development of Telecommunications Facilities ATLANTA--(Business Wire)-- BAC Communications Infrastructure Group, LLC (BAC CIG) (Atlanta), a telecommunications infrastructure company, announces an alliance with Wireless Facilities, Inc. (WFI) (Reston, VA), an end-to-end provider of network deployment services, to develop telecommunications towers and related facilities in the Eastern U.S. initially and nationwide later in 2008. This new relationship will enable BAC CIG to fund projects while taking advantage of WFI's expertise in identifying infrastructure opportunities in key geographic locations and accelerating site acquisition and regulatory approvals. Together the two companies will provide major wireless and broadband carriers with strategically located, rapidly implemented infrastructure to strengthen and expand carrier service throughout the U.S. "Most wireless carriers do not own but rent space on cellular towers due to high development costs and specialized regulatory approvals," notes Daniel Ryan, CEO of BAC CIG. "With a growing need for towers and shrinking carrier capital budgets, investment in telecommunications infrastructure represents a true bright spot in today's financial market. In collaboration with WFI, BAC Communications Infrastructure Group offers a range of unique benefits to carriers and to our investors." Ryan points out that BAC CIG has access to extensive market research and contacts, local zoning and regulatory approval expertise and immediate capital to fund the development of wireless assets. WFI's deep commitment to and history in the network deployment industry helps BAC CIG deliver comprehensive expertise in a scalable manner. "We are very excited to be partnering with Berlin Atlantic's new Communications Infrastructure Group," said Keith Pennachio, Vice President and General Manager for Wireless Facilities, Inc. "The synergies derived from such an alliance will yield benefits for both of our companies and ultimately our clients." Berlin Atlantic Capital is an independent international investment house with its U.S. headquarters located in Atlanta. BAC Communications Infrastructure Group seeks out creative investment opportunities in the dynamic arena of wireless communications assets. By targeting initiatives focused on development processes associated with these assets, BAC CIG is in a unique position to capitalize proactively on behalf of its investors on the growing consumer demand for reliable wireless infrastructure. Wireless Facilities, Inc. is a leading, end-to-end provider of turnkey network deployment services. For over a decade they have provided services to the leading wireless carriers and equipment manufacturers across the globe.
