Clear Enrollment Tops 5,000 in One Week; Airport Security Fast Program Hits
Tipping Point

NEW YORK, March 31 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Clear(R), the fast pass for
airport security, announced that enrollments last week surged to 5,254,
shattering all previous records of online sign-ups. Clear's announcement of
three new airports in Washington, DC (Reagan National and Dulles
International) and San Francisco Bay Area (Oakland) sent enrollment climbing
in all major markets. Fliers in both markets can use Clear Cards regardless
of what airline they fly or what destination they are flying to. Clear has
signed up over 127,000 people nationwide at flyclear.com.
"With the launch of three major airports in a seven day period, we have
seen enrollments soar in all markets," said Steven Brill, CEO and founder of
Clear. "Indianapolis hit an all time high on Friday with the announcements.
The enrollment increase is truly national and beats expectations. We expected
DC and the Bay Area to see major increases but we did not anticipate the
effect that it would have in feeder markets," Brill added.
As enrollments in Clear climb on the heels of the openings of Reagan,
Dulles, and Oakland, fliers also anticipate the launch within a few weeks of
the program in Atlanta. Clear Cards will be accepted in Atlanta no matter
what provider the Airport selects.
Clear members are pre-screened by the Transportation Security
Administration (TSA) and, after application approval, are provided with a card
that allows exclusive access to Clear's security lanes nationwide. The
innovative, high-tech Clear Card verifies a fingerprint or iris image selected
by members during enrollment.
Clear operates 28 enrollment stations across the country and also brings
mobile enrollment onsite to businesses nationwide. New Clear enrollment
openings can be found at flyclear.com/enrollment.
