Imperas Ltd. will demonstrate Open Virtual Platforms (OVP), an
open standard solution for developers to simulate embedded software on
system-on-chip (SoC) designs, April 1- 2 during Multicore Expo at the
Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif.

Simon Davidmann, chief executive officer and founder of Imperas,
will participate in a panel titled, "Are Virtual Platforms an Enabler
for Multi-Processor SoCs?," moderated by Richard Goering, editor of
SCDsource. It will be held Wednesday, April 2, from 11:45 a.m.-12:30
p.m. Also on Wednesday, Davidmann will give a presentation from

   About Imperas

Imperas is focused on solving embedded software debug,
verification and analysis issues through the development of
methodologies, technologies and products, particularly as these issues
occur on multicore platforms. To facilitate improved embedded software
development and seed the ecosystem around this, Imperas initiated the
Open Virtual Platforms (OVP) movement for high performance, open, free
software virtual platforms. With an engineering base in the UK,
Imperas distributes its products to customers worldwide. For more
information, visit: http://www.imperas.com.

   About OVP

Open Virtual Platforms (OVP) was initiated with the donation by
Imperas of approximately $4 million of simulation infrastructure that
enables chip designers and software developers to model platforms,
systems on chips (SoCs), and multiprocessor SoCs (MPSoCs). The OVP
technology is available for free from www.ovpworld.org and has the
support of electronic design automation (EDA) companies, end users and
intellectual property (IP) providers. For more details, visit:
