HYDER CONSULTING PLC ("Hyder" or "the Company")


DIRECTOR/ PDMR Shareholding


In accordance with DTR 3.1.4, the Company announces that it was notified on 28
March 2008 that on 28 March 2008 Simon Hamilton-Eddy, Director, transferred
250,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in Hyder ("the Shares") for nil
consideration to trustees of a non-qualifying Interest In Possession Settlement
providing income benefit for his spouse. The Shares will revert to Mr
Hamilton-Eddy on 20 August 2008. As a result of the transfer the number of
ordinary shares Mr Hamilton-Eddy is ultimately interested in remains unchanged,
at 619,867, representing 1.64% of the issued ordinary share capital.
