Transaction in Own Shares

Acuity VCT Plc announces that on 28 March 2008 the Company purchased 60,533
ordinary shares of 1p each for cancellation representing 0.21% of the issued
share capital at a price of 71 pence per share.

Following this transaction the Company now has 19,402,384 ordinary shares of 1p
each and 9,093,156 C shares of 1p each in issue.
