OMAHA, Neb.--(Business Wire)--
Kiewit Corporation recently formed a new group, Kiewit Power,
designed to enhance service offerings in the power sector. Kiewit
Power brings together two Kiewit Corporation subsidiaries, which have
recently changed their names. Kiewit Industrial Co. is now Kiewit
Power Constructors Co., while Bibb and Associates, Inc., is now Kiewit
Power Engineers Co.

"The future is bright in the power and energy markets for Kiewit,"
said spokesman Kent Grisham. "By bringing a 'one-stop-shop' concept to
their integrated engineering, procurement, construction and startup
service needs, Kiewit is clearly committed to the success of our power
customers."

Kiewit Industrial Co. began its operations in 1951. From its early
exposure to mechanical and electrical work, it has expanded to build
major power and mechanical process facilities, including nuclear,
fossil fuel, geothermal, waste-to-energy and simple and combined-cycle
gas turbine facilities.

Founded in 1979, Bibb and Associates, Inc. was acquired by Kiewit
in 1998. The company has worked closely with energy industry clients
to provide them with complete engineering services unique to each
project's specifications.

"Kiewit Industrial Co. and Bibb and Associates, Inc. have been an
integral part of Kiewit for many years, sharing priorities in safety,
quality, integrity and value," Grisham said. "None of that changes.
Operationally, everything remains the same for our employees,
customers, subcontractors and suppliers."

Together, Kiewit Power Constructors and Kiewit Power Engineers
have designed or constructed more than 23,000 megawatts of power
generation, including the Greater Des Moines Energy Center; the Haynes
No. 3 and No. 4 Generating Station Repowering in Long Beach, Calif.;
the High Desert combined-cycle power plant in Victorville, Calif.; and
the Hog Bayou Energy Center, a gas-fired, combined-cycle facility in
Mobile, Ala.

Kiewit Power has a diverse portfolio of current projects in
various sectors of the power market:

-- Coal - Nebraska City Unit 2 (Nebraska City, Neb.), Iatan 2
(Weston, Mo.) and Dallman Unit 4 (Springfield, Ill.)

-- Gas-fired - Thorold Cogeneration Project (Thorold, Ontario,
Canada), Panoche Energy Center (Firebaugh, Calif.) and Bartow
Repowering Project (St. Petersburg, Fla.)

-- AQCS - Council Bluffs Energy Center Unit 3 (Council Bluffs,
Iowa), Louisa Scrubber and Baghouse Project (Muscatine, Iowa) and Dave
Johnston Units 3 and 4 FGD Project (Glenrock, Wyo.)

Kiewit is one of North America's largest and most respected
construction and engineering organizations and is the successor to a
construction business founded in 1884. Headquartered in Omaha, Neb.,
the employee-owned company operates through a network of offices in
the United States and Canada. Kiewit offers construction and
engineering services in a variety of sectors including transportation,
buildings, water and power, underground facilities,
telecommunications, industrial, oil and gas facilities, mining and
offshore facilities. Kiewit's workforce includes approximately 6,000
salaried and hourly staff along with more than 16,000 craft workers.
