Directors' Shareholdings
In advance of the changes to the capital gains tax regime on 6 April 2008,
certain directors of Homeserve plc have entered into the transactions detailed
below.
Richard Harpin and Brian Whitty have today transferred for no consideration
1,500,000 and 58,901 shares into trusts in which they will retain a beneficial
interest in the capital and income during the life of the trusts and which will
be for the benefit of them and their respective families. The trustees of the
trusts, who will acquire the voting rights attaching to the shares are Drummond
Kerr and Philip Harrison.
All capital, income and voting rights of the shares in Richard Harpin's trust
will automatically revert to Richard Harpin after a period of 5 months. All
capital, income and voting rights of the shares in Brian Whitty's trust will
automatically revert to Brian Whitty after a period of 3 months and 1 week.
In addition, Richard Harpin has transferred 5,700 shares into a Self-Invested
Personal Pension.
The table below summarises the changes in the directors' interests as a result
of these transactions.
