Quintain Estates and Development PLC notifies the market that as at today's
date, the issued share capital of Quintain Estates and Development PLC now
consists of 129,929,944 ordinary shares.  5,234 shares are held in Treasury.

Therefore the total number of voting rights in Quintain Estates and Development
PLC is 129,924,710.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, Quintain Estates and Development
PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
