TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's provisions we would like to
notify the market of the following;

Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC's capital as at 31 March 2008 consists of 29,522,615
Ordinary shares and 15,846,847 D shares, both with a nominal value of 50p each,
with voting rights.  Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC holds 779,248 Ordinary shares in
Treasury and 150,566 D shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC is
44,439,648.

The figure of 44,439,648 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC under
the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
