                              Total Voting Rights


In conformity with R5.6.1 of the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the
Company notifies the market that at the date of this announcement the Company's
issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) comprises 114,120,739 ordinary
shares with a nominal value of 2.5p each ("Ordinary Shares") with voting rights.

Portrait holds 6,596 Ordinary Shares in treasury.

Portrait does not have any other class of share which has voting rights.

Consequently Portrait's total number of voting rights is 114,120,739 Ordinary
Shares and this figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the
denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the
share capital of the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
