HRPT Properties Trust Announces Record Date for Annual Meeting

NEWTON, Mass.--(Business Wire)--
HRPT Properties Trust (NYSE: HRP) today announced that it has
scheduled its 2008 Annual Meeting of Shareholders for June 12, 2008.
The record date for determination of shareholders entitled to vote at
the meeting has been set at the close of business on April 14, 2008.

   HRPT Properties Trust is a real estate investment trust, or REIT,
which primarily owns office and industrial properties located
throughout the United States. It is the largest owner of industrial
lands in the state of Hawaii. HRPT is headquartered in Newton,
Massachusetts.
