TAM Updates Ex-dividend Date

SAO PAULO, Brazil, March 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TAM S.A. (BOVESPA:
TAMM4, NYSE:TAM) announces the supplementary dividends payment of R$ 0.23 and
interest on stockholder's capital of R$ 0.21 per share to all shareholders.
The calculation was based on the profits from year 2007 as verified in the

    The payment schedule is as follows:

    Date of Credit
    All stockholders of record with the company on March 31, 2008, will be
entitled to receive approved dividends and interest.
    Ex-dividend Date
    The transactions carried out on the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange (BOVESPA) and
New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) as of, and including, April 1, 2008, will be
ex-dividends and interest.
    Payment of Dividends and Interest on Stockholder's Capital
    The supplementary dividends and interest on stockholder's capital will be
paid to stockholders on April 15, 2007.
