NGAS Resources, Inc. (Nasdaq: NGAS) today announced that William
S. Daugherty, President and CEO, will present at the Independent
Petroleum Association of America's (IPAA) Annual Oil & Gas Investment
Symposium (OGIS) being held at The Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers in
New York City April 7-9, 2008.

   Mr. Daugherty will be presenting at the conference on Tuesday,
April 8, 2008 at 10:55 a.m. (Eastern). During his presentation, Mr.
Daugherty plans to discuss NGAS and its natural gas opportunities in
the Appalachian Basin as well as provide a general business update.
