CSC Elects Three New Corporate Officers

FALLS CHURCH, Va., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation
(NYSE: CSC) today announced the election of three new corporate vice
presidents. William L. Deckelman, Jr., 50, has been elected corporate vice
president, general counsel and secretary; Gawie Nienaber, 50, has been elected
corporate vice president and associate general counsel; and Nathan (Gus)
Siekierka, 58, has been elected corporate vice president, human resources.
    Nienaber will report to Deckelman, and Deckelman and Siekierka will report
to CSC Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Michael W. Laphen.
    Deckelman will be responsible for all legal activities across the company.
He replaces Hayward (Dan) Fisk, who will continue to serve as a corporate vice
president until his retirement later in the year. Nienaber is responsible for
legal support to all of CSC's non-U.S. operations, and Siekierka is
responsible for all human resources functions throughout the company.

    Deckelman joined CSC two months ago from Affiliated Computer Services Inc.
(NYSE: ACS), where he served for 14 years, most recently as executive vice
president and general counsel. Prior to this, he worked in a private law
practice in Austin and Dallas, Texas, and served as an attorney for MTech
Corp/Electronic Data Systems Corporation. He holds a bachelor's degree in
political science and a master's degree in business administration from
Arkansas State University, and a juris doctorate degree from the University of
Arkansas School of Law.
    Nienaber joined CSC in 1993.  He has been associate general counsel with
responsibility for legal support to all of CSC's non-U.S. operations since
January 2008. Previously, he served as deputy general counsel with
responsibility for legal support to operations in Europe, Middle East and
Africa. Nienaber holds a master of laws degree from Harvard Law School, a
bachelor of laws degree cum laude from the University of Stellenbosch in South
Africa, and was a Rhodes scholar at Oxford University where he was awarded a
jurisprudence degree.
    Siekierka joined CSC in 1973 and has been responsible for all human
resources functions throughout the company since November 2005. Previously, he
held lead human resources positions for several of the company's commercial
outsourcing units, including Global Infrastructure Services, Technology
Management Group, Global Transformation Solutions and Americas Business
Development. Prior to this, he was vice president of Human Resources for CSC's
North American Public Sector (NPS) business unit and chief human resources
executive for several NPS organizations. Siekierka holds a bachelor's degree
in psychology from the University of Maryland and a master's degree in
business administration in personnel management from George Washington
University.
