HSM Electronic Protection Services, Inc. Changes Name and Brand To Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc.

NAPERVILLE, Ill.--(Business Wire)--
HSM Electronic Protection Services, Inc. (HSM) today announced the
formation of Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc., combining
Stanley Systems Integration (SI) and HSM, a move that acknowledges the
market need to advance to beyond just alarm systems and realign to
accommodate the integration of security systems with IT
infrastructure.

"The combination is a great fit," states Brett Bontrager,
President, Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, a part of the
Stanley Works (SWK). "The name reflects a broad, contemporary and
forward-thinking direction -- which identifies the Stanley connection
-- and accommodates both SI's and HSM's services, products and
capabilities under one business.

business was integration work, while SI customers are interested in

Harnessing the HSM brand that has built considerable momentum over
the past three years throughout the industry and with its customers,
especially in the national account arena, the HSM National Account
Program will remain branded with the same name.
