Total Voting Rights



The total number of ordinary shares of 1p each of City of London Investment
Group plc in issue as at the date of this notice is 25,360,500.



There are no ordinary shares held in treasury and therefore the total number of
ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company is 25,360,500.



The above figure of 25,360,500 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders as
the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the
Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
