                           Total Voting Rights Update


In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we
would like to notify the market of the following:

The Company's issued capital consists of 537,074,316 ordinary shares of 1p each,
all with voting rights. No shares were held in treasury at the date of this
announcement. The total number of current voting rights in the Company is
therefore 537,074,316.

The above figure (537,074,316 ordinary shares of 1p each) may be used by
shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine
if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest
in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
