                                 Result of EGM

Canton Property Investment Limited held an EGM today to seek shareholder
approval, among others, to grant a specific mandate to Directors to allot New
Ordinary Shares other than on a pre-emptive basis in connection with the
proposed acquisition of Pearl River New City B1-1 Development in Guangzhou,
China as detailed in the Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting sent to
shareholders on 13 March 2008. All resolutions were passed.
